Day 01   Arrival Yangon   (-/-/-)

Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, you are welcomed by our local representative and transfer to the hotel. Your journey begins with drive through the colonial-style city center of Yangon. You’ll start at the post office – a lovely historic building, passing by Strand Hotel, Independence Monument along the way.
Walk around to landmark Sule Pagoda, Mahabandoola Park and downtown of Yangon with remarkable sites of Colonial Buildings & City Hall.

After lunch we’ll visit Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda, home to a 70-meter long reclining Buddha.
Photo stop at the Karaweik Hall royal floating barge.
From here, continue to Shwedagon Pagoda one of the world’s most spectacular monuments in Myanmar.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the golden stupa from this vantage point.

Day 02   Yangon>Bagan   (B/-/-)

Transfer to Yangon airport for early domestic flight to NYAUNG U/ BAGAN.
Upon arrival, visit to the NYAUNG U MARKET, the largest market in the Bagan region, gives us a glimpse into local life.
We continue to explore the temples of Bagan : the gold gilded SWEZIGON STUPA, purported to contain a holy tooth relic of the Buddha.
Next will be GUBYAUKGYI (Wet-Kyi-Inn),this 13th-century ‘cave temple’ has an Indian-style spire like the MahabodhiPaya in Bagan. HTILOMINLO TEMPLE to learn how Burmese sand paintings are created. The day’s temple tour ends with a visit to the beautifully symmetric and majestic ANANDA TEMPLE with its four standing Buddha images that seem to gaze at the viewer with fixed serenity wherever the viewer stands. DHAMAYANGYI TEMPLE, the largest and widest temple all of the temples in Bagan. Proceed to SHWESANDAW PAGODA to watch the sunset over the famous Ayeyarwaddy River.

Day 03   Bagan>Mandalay   (B/-/-)


After breakfast, transfer to airport for the domestic flight to MANDALAY. Upon arrival, ARTISAN QUARTERS, where some of the oldest craftsmanship are showcased dating back to last kingdom of Myanmar. We observe the process of pounding gold leaf, detailing teakwood carvings and embroidering Myanmar tapestry. We also see how bronze and marble Buddha statues are carved, cast and molded.
Next, we proceed to the major highlights of the city: the sacred MAHAMUNI PAGODA, housing one of the most significant Buddha images covered in several tons of gold leaf and the crown prize in wars between competing kingdoms; the GOLDEN PALACE MONASTERY, the sole surviving Royal Palace building in Mandalay, offering a glimpse of the original style and architecture of the Myanmar royals; and lastly, the KUTHODAW PAGODA, a compound housing Buddha’s teachings carved in the sacred Pali script on stone tablets and regarded the world’s largest book in terms of surface area. We end our day with sunset panoramic views over city skyline on MANDALAY HILL, the highest point of the city.

Day 04   Mandalay>Heho - Inle Lake   (B/-/-))

Enjoy breakfast and fly to HEHO.
Upon arrival, a hour drive to Nyaung Shwe, the gateway village to Inle Lake and en route stop at the wooden Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery which features beautiful carvings and a collection of Buddha images. Visit the morning local 5th days markets (except full moon or dark moon) refer calender. You can see the local ethnic who wearing their traditional outfits and also local products.

Upon reaching the edges of Inle Lake, board a private motorboat to head out to Inle Lake,Pass villages built on stilts over the lake, inhabited by the local Intha people. Observe the leg-rowing fishermen and see their floating gardens , how to make the local food (eg Shan Tofu).
Depending on the time of year you will see traditional methods of boat building in various stages, from the initial framework all the way to the final coat of paint.

Visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the lake’s main sanctuary, which contains five sacred Buddha images covered in gold leaf.
Explore the local crafts of Inle Lake with a stop at the weaving village of Inpawkhone and a cheroot factory, where the typical Burmese cigars are made by hand.
If time permits, there may be time to enjoy a short walk through one of the lakeside villages.

Day 05   Inle Lake, Heho - Yangon   (B/-/-)

Morning fly back to Yangon.
Upon arrival, visit Bogyoke Market where by you can browse through stalls and shops selling local souvernis/arts/handicrafts and other goods. (closed on Mondays and public Holiday).

Drive through the city and observe the influences of other cultures in the region. Intersperse in the tour are various religious sites such as the St Mary's Cathedral, built in 1899.
Continue to Chinatown and the fruit market and local tea shop.
Overnight Yangon.

At leisure until departure transfer.
